I am a libertarian. My previous two books, “Ancap” and, especially, “The Libertarian Theory of War”, were written for libertarians. If proponents of other ideologies misunderstand them, it will not be a problem for me. But the book I am presenting to you now has a different task. It is addressed to those who hold the worldview usually referred to as “leftist,” and now it matters much less to me how distortedly this text might be understood by libertarians, as long as I succeed in conveying my position to the target audience.

For this reason, I intend to devote the entire first part of the book to getting to know the reader: I will describe how I see them, how they think from my point of view, what is important to them, and what guides them. And only then, in the same vein, will I try to talk about myself and my worldview.

In the second part, I will try to describe which problems of the current world concern proponents of leftist ideas and which concern libertarians.

Finally, I plan to devote the third part to ways of our possible cooperation in working on the problems that concern us.

The book will be posted on my website as it is written. I am counting heavily on detailed and balanced feedback; it may significantly influence the text, including parts that have already been published. I express my gratitude in advance to all early readers who will take the trouble to point out flaws in the text and ways to correct them. I will certainly not be able to take all of your comments into account, for which I apologize in advance.
