Arkady Babchenko survived, the perpetrator has been detained and is cooperating with the investigation, and in general, life has suddenly taken a turn completely in the spirit of spy novels.

Is it feasible to pull off such special operations in a minarchist state or even under ancap? Theoretically – yes. And so, no sooner had I posted the answer about the extermination of niggers than news arrived that Arkady Babchenko had been killed in Kyiv.
Arkady was a wonderful example of how a person possessing a sense of self-respect almost inevitably turns into a proper ancap, no matter how much of a vatnik or leftie they tried to raise him to be. Babchenko lived by the market, hated the state, and did a lot to discredit the war.

When they tell you that without the state people would kill each other, remind them that the most cynical murders are nonetheless committed by order of the state, and such murders go unpunished much more often.
